Phil Green - Clarinet
Phil has extensive experience in both performance and teaching. Since returning to Australia in 2015 he has been the Associate Principal Clarinet in the Opera Australia Orchestra, resident in the Sydney Opera house and one of Australia's busiest performing orchestras. Previously he held the post as Co-Principal Clarinet of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra from 2003-2015, touring extensively in New Zealand and internationally. As a teacher Phil taught at the New Zealand School of Music at Victoria University in Wellington and several of his students have continued to have successful professional careers of their own.
Phil enjoys the challenge of the AMEB system but is also more than happy to teach students that prefer setting their own goals.
