Cristina Vaszilcsin – Violin
With over 30 years of professional experience as both a performer and teacher, I specialise in classical violin tuition for students of all ages and levels — from beginners to advanced examination and scholarship candidates. Born into a European musical family, I began my violin studies in Europe before completing my tertiary education in the USA, where I earned my Master’s degree. As an active professional violinist, I perform regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and Opera Australia (OA). This international training combined with ongoing high-level performance keeps my teaching fresh, inspiring, and grounded in the highest orchestral and solo standards. I run a successful private violin studio with a proven track record of excellent AMEB results across all levels. My students also consistently win music scholarships to leading private schools and participate successfully in Eisteddfods. In 2026–2027 I teach online via multiple platforms including MOOZ, Zoom, FaceTime and others, making this high-quality classical violin tuition accessible to students across Australia.
